INTIMATE WEDDING AT A HISTORIC INN

My absolute favorite micro-wedding venue in all of Savannah is hands-down the Gastonian Inn. If you're looking to host a wedding with only your nearest and dearest to celebrate with you, this venue needs to be on your visit list! From the beautifully curated guest rooms to the European-esque courtyard, it has all the gorgeous finishing touches you'd want in a Historic Downtown wedding.

Meeting up with Julianna and her girls in the penthouse suite set the energy for the day perfectly. There was a buzz of excitement in the air that was immaculately balanced by a calm, sureness in the day. Julianna's bridesmaids were the sweetest of friends as they pampered her in every way to get her ready to walk down the aisle! It was all smiles when family showed up to put all the final touches on. Julianna + Andrew gifted their mothers with the sweetest necklaces to wear to the ceremony!

The ceremony began in the greenery-wrapped courtyard of everyone's dreams, under a sky so blue it rivaled the bride's eyes! The bridal entrance was so romantic as Julianna was escorted across the bridge and down the stairs to her groom. I love the way this venue naturally slows the procession down in a way that allows everyone to take in the moment and really feel it.

After these two said their vows, they popped champagne and got ready to celebrate! After a toast and a thousand hugs, the couple and I moved through the venue for some gorgeously artistic portraits. The courtyard is so picturesque, I genuinely adore the architecture and greenery--it makes anyone look like art! Outside the gate is Gaston Street, which is one of my favorite streets to shoot on in all of Savannah. The front of the Gastonian has a stunning balcony that kisses the live oaks lining the street. As we wandered down toward Forsyth Park, we stopped at a few of the most gorgeous spots on the road!

Finally, we met up with Julianna + Andrew's family and friends at St. Bibiana for a luxurious dinner reception. Not only do they have some of the best cuisine in Savannah, the aesthetics of this place are also unmatched! We had to sneak in a few last portraits in the bar, and I think the photos speak for themselves there.
